Kerteh day 7&8: the tale of two malls

On the first weekend in Kerteh (Friday & Saturday) we visited the capital of Terengganu (Kuala Terengganu) and Pahang (Kuantan). Distance wise Kuala Terengganu is farther than Kuantan. Kerteh is part of Terengganu but Kuantan is closer.

We thought that Kuantan is nicer than Kuala Terengganu. More trees, better city landscaping and certainly bigger (and nicer) main mall. The East Coast Mall has more branded products outlet than KTCC. 

I can see why Kerteh people would rather drive down south rather than up north to their own capital. More reasons and shorter travel time (hence pay less toll and gasoline)

On day 13 we went back to Kuantan and found out that there's more that this city has to offer. We'd certainly comeback for more.

One small note on opening hour of KTCC. On Friday the mall was closed between mid day to 2:30 PM. If not for a Chinese restaurant around the mall we would be starving while waiting for the mall to open.
